9 to 5 Life
« on: July 03, 2019, 07:56:21 PM »
I've been working a regular, full-time job for the past few years and all I can say is props to everyone who's been doing it all their lives. I dislike having to wake up and come to work 5x weekly just to make the man on top rich. The concept perplexes me that the majority of people have to live in servitude to another man's will till they're  ready to retire at 65 to 70 years of age.

By that time you'll get a pension, which for most people is less than what they've been earning through active income. With what little you have left, you'd probably feel too tired or beat up to actually enjoy spending it. It's a trap that people find themselves find themselves in because they've been conditioned to believe it's the only way to achieve true happiness.

Wtf world.

Yes. That is the reality of it. It's helpful to step back and look at the bigger picture - how things are going for you now, where it's going, and what you want it to look like.

It helps to break things down, and replace the useless or detrimental habits with goods ones. Set goals, break them down into mini-goals, and start working on these mini-goals at your own pace.

Very general advice. But it's very helpful if applied. For anything work achieving, being consistent is really helpful.
